The Culture of the Organization - Not just another Capitalist company - Our WHY
The Asanjo Way - Our Culture
"Asanjo" means "Ours" in Kutchi—an Indian dialect—referring to the sense of belonging and community at the core of our existence.
Companies were traditionally created for profit—at all costs—benefiting only a few stakeholders. We believe the era of this one-dimensional approach is over.
Today's company cares for the future, not just the present. It operates on principles that create a positive impact on the world while also generating wealth and resources for all stakeholders—including employees, clients, partners, local communities, and the planet at large.
We aim to build ideas and companies that survive beyond the lifetimes of the founding teams. While they may change shape and form, the core idea and soul of the company will thrive for 100+ years—resilient and strong like our planet.
Asanjo is built on key pillars inspired by various global standards. We've adapted these slightly to make them our own—Asanjo.
The Asanjo Pillars
Impact and Results, Not Profit at All Costs
Our company's foundation is to leave the world better than we found it—which means sometimes choosing impact over pure profit.
We value capital and money as energy representing how the world rewards the value and impact we create. However, we see it as a resource to be harnessed for continued global impact.
"Less is more" - Focus on the 20% of actions that yield 80% of the impact -Avoid MAFA (Mistaking Activity For Achievement)
Apply triple bottom line thinking in decision-making
Link all OKRs to final triple line impact impact
Prosperity for All
Unequal wealth creation is unsustainable. We believe in creating wealth for all stakeholders.
We promote transparency in salaries and costs, fostering open and truthful communication, even in difficult conversations. Every employee receives shares and profit-sharing (details to be finalised). We maintain a management-to-worker compensation ratio never exceeding 30 (PPP).
A core team defines a minimum quality of life standard for each team member which the team strives towards to the best possible efforts.
Empowered Workspaces
We strive to create workspaces and management techniques that bring out the best in each employee.
Holocracies, not hierarchies
Every team member is equal—we respect the ability to lead teams toward our mission, not titles
Steward Ownership
Appreciation for stakeholders driving the mission forward
Town hall decision-making for key issues—simple majority votes decide actions. Key experts have additional voting weight as long as it aligns with the Asanjo way
Fun While Creating Impact
We take fun seriously. As analytical thinkers, we've defined fun as the intersection of playfulness, connection, and flow. We believe teams have the greatest impact when they experience genuine fun, measured by smiles. We proactively create this space for all our stakeholders!
Giving Back to Our Communities
We dedicate 5% of our working hours to supporting communities where we operate. Additionally, 2% of our profits will perpetually be used to create impact for communities close to us.

These principles, values, and structures form our playground, where we discover new methods and tools through trial and error that work best for us.
We hope to inspire other founders who want to challenge the status quo of today's economy. This isn't meant to be a template to copy, but rather a framework for a new generation of companies to emerge.
